Welcome to my website. I hope that you find it informative and perhaps an incentive to schedule your own massage and bodywork session.
I find myself fortunate enough to enjoy a private practice in a lovely office in downtown Carrboro. I share a suite with Triangle Natural Health and Krisztina Kozmetica Spa. My office is conveniently located at 304 W. Weaver Street. Look for the bright blue building! There is parking just outside the building as well as free, two-hour parking across the street..
I also provide massage on-site at Carolina Meadows...a completely delightful experience, as well as at Structure House, a residential weight loss facility in Durham, where people from all over the country (and other countries!) learn to incorporate diet and exercise in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
I offer a variety of bodywork modalities including Swedish and myofascial (deep tissue) massage. Licensure in North Carolina requires that I take many hours of continuing education. Some of the workshops I have attended include medical massage, trigger point therapy, acupressure, hot stone work, Chinese cupping, Healing Touch, and osteoarthritis massage. I will call upon whatever combination of techniques seems appropriate depending upon your needs at the time.
Most every massage will include joint mobilization to enhance the production of synovial fluid, the lubricant of our joints.
I take the utmost care to provide a safe and nurturing environment, and one in which your privacy and confidentiality are honored. With every session you may expect to enjoy all-cotton linens, organic oils or lotion, and soothing music. I have a number of energy healing techniques I can call upon as well, always with no additional charge.
Payment is by check or cash.
